Türkiye borax pentahydrate, also known as sodium tetraborate pentahydrate, is a white crystalline powder with a density of 1.815g/cm ³， Melting point is 75 ℃, easily soluble in hot water and glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol and carbon tetrachloride. The aqueous solution is alkaline and completely loses crystalline water when heated to 120 ℃. Mainly used in industries such as glass and ceramics, and as trace element fertilizers in agriculture.
